13-11-2008 - Performance Ford Brands Hatch track day

Another successful track day under our belts! This time the venue was Brands Hatch in Kent, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Performance Ford for organising it.

We had Performance Ford Nick’s Escort RS Turbo out on track again along with Mel’s supercharged Fiesta ST, along with us came Ryan and his supercharged Fiesta ST-500 and another customer of our Tom was there with his S1 RST.

A day free of mishap lead to much enjoyment by all.

30-09-2008 - Servicing, diesel chipping, STOC open day

It's been a while, but it's update time again. We've been quite busy over the past little while, first off, we've done a fair bit of work on the site, there's a new section to show our vehicle servicing rates, we're working on a drop down menu system to allow you to pick your car, engine and then get a price e-mailed to you, but it's not quite in place yet. Until then, take a look at THIS page and send an e-mail for a price

We've also been doing a lot of fuel saving chips on turbo diesel cars, we're currently getting an average of 5 miles per gallon EXTRA with one of our remaps, so they're well worth doing if you're looking to save some pennies. Click HERE for more info.

Last but by no means least, we had a great open day in conjunction with the Fiesta STOC forum, hopefully a few of you learnt some things, and more importantly, had fun, we know we all did. We've created a gallery of the day, we didn't get any of our own pictures though, so all the ones there are borrowed from the forum. If anyone has an more, please e-mail them to us at pics@jam-sport.co.uk and don't forget to look at the gallery by clicking the tab at the top of the page.

If anyone didn't go, keep an eye out for the feature in Performance Ford magazine within the next month or so to see some pics and all the power figures

12-08-2008 - Project updates

Take a look at our gallery page, we've recently added a little write up about our very own Fiesta ST-150, as well as some of our other cars in the "our cars" section.

10-08-2008 - National Day

We'll be at Donington this weekend (17-08-2008) for the RSOC's National Day event, there will be a few of our cars on our stand and some of them out on track.

See you there

24-07-2008 - Snetterton

We took a few cars to Snetterton this Thursday for yet another track day, Pete, Ben and Nick's cars were out in force performing very well.

Pete's car now has the supercharger fitted, making it the first supercharged, throttle bodied, 2.5 litre ST150 in the world.

Pete's ST at Snetterton

Nick's Escort at Snetterton

Pete is very happy with the car, commenting on the forums with "I have been out and about today and the car runs nice and smooth around town no leaks no high temps it runs good at 30mph as it did at 130+ at snetterton" and "You will have no worries about your car being modded at Jam-sport, jamie and the lads know what they are doing with the fiest st.After two hours of track non stop then 100+miles drive home my car started and got me to work the next day doing 30 mph never missing a beat"

17-07-2008 - Broster's Corsa

It runs!!!

05-07-2008 - Castle Combe

Another track day this weekend, which meant a trip down to Castle Combe with the same 3 cars

Nick's car was out on track all day again keeping up with the faster cars as always

28-06-2008 - Croft

A little trip up to Croft this weekend for a track day, we took Pete's 2.5 litre Fiesta ST150, Nick from Performance Ford's RS Turbo and Ben's supercharged ST150

Ben's Fiesta went on the sprint track and set a 5.6 second 0-60 with a standard diff, there's more to come when he's got a LSD in there

croft

Nick's Escort held up well all day after a little collaboration by Jamsport and Sitech to keep it a bit cooler

It also surprised a few people, keeping up with 'faster' cars, resulting in some comments on the forums like this "Car of the day for me was the Jamsport RS Turbo, properly quick car and Jamie can really pedal it, Si B and Nige in their evo's could match its pace but not beat it, likewise JC and the other subaru (blue one) as well. Just goes to show what they CAN be capable of with the right mods/driver"

So all in all, everyone had a good weekend

13-06-2008 - BMW testing at Bruntingthorpe

Jamie and Mark went to Bruntingthorpe to set up a customer's race car suspension, when they first tested it, the car was very tail happy and snappy as the suspension was untouched, a few tweaks here and there and it was all sorted leaving the car very planted even through the long, faster corners.

This is a service we can offer to anyone, testing before and after the setup is the best way to see an improvement and get the car set up just how the customer wants it.
