Gotech MFI Pro X

The Gotech PRO X engine control unit is our top of the range ECU. This unit features a faster processor than the normal Gotech MFI and PRO ECU and about double the crystal speed. This control unit took the market with a storm due to the good pricing and extreme capabilities. After one year of production the Gotech PRO X unit was already featured in top European magazines.

Gotech PRO X Information and Features

Applications:

• One, Two, Three, Four, Six and Eight Cylinders with distributor and single coil or coil packs
• Trigger per event, 60-2, 12-1, 24-1 and TDC pickups
• Various setup combinations available:
• 4, 6 and eight Cylinder, One coil and two injector outputs with trigger per event input
• 4 Cylinder, Two coil and Two injector outputs with crank trigger (60-2, 36-1, 12-1)
• 6 Cylinder, Three coil and three injector outputs with crank trigger (60-2)
• 4 Cylinder, Full sequential Four coil and four injector output (60 -2 plus hall effect TDC)
• 6 Cylinder, Full sequential fuelling and phased ignition (60 -2 plus hall effect TDC)
• 8 Cylinder, Single coil and distributor
• 8 Cylinder, Single coil, full sequential injection (60-2 plus hall effect TDC)
• 8 Cylinder, Two distributor, Phased sequential fuel (60 -2 crank pickup Lexus 1uz)
• Mazda Rotary Twin and Triple rotor engines (24 -1 Distributor pickup)

• 2 Gpo outputs can be used for idle control or VVT or boost control.

Ignition Control Features

• Full Control over ignition timing at preset RPM intervals and 32 load sites
• Interpolation Between load sites for smooth timing transition
• Ignition control input provided by engine speed and manifold pressure (TPS also available)
• Soft touch RPM limiter is provided to prevent dangerously high RPM to be exceeded
• Ignition is fully programmable using serial link to Pc or laptop
• Windows based software
• Timing control up to 12000 rpm

Fuel Injection Features

• Batch Firing of injectors in mode 0. Phased firing in all other modes except for full sequential modes.
• Full control over electronic injectors over 32 load sites and preset RPM levels
• Interpolation Between load sites for smooth transition
• Able to drive 12x 2ohm injectors or 24x 16 ohm injectors
• Fuel injector time mapped at 500rpm from startup to 12 000rpm on a 4 cylinder engine
• Injector time is fully programmable using the windows based Gotech PRO X Tuner software

• Manifold air pressure (Built in 1,5 bar manifold pressure sensor, optional 3,0 bar map sensor available)
• Intake air temperature
• Fluid Temperature
• Throttle Position
• Engine Speed, crank trigger pickups 60 -2, 36 -1, 12-1. Distributor pickups trigger per event and 24-1. (Pre order ecu for your specific application).
• Lambda (Closed Loop Control, Wideband compatible on request)

• Files can be uploaded and stored on your computers hard drive for future use
• Real time fuel adjustment using the fuel pot. Fuel adjustable by 10% richer and leaner over the - whole range while driving. Real time timing adjustment with the ignition pot allows 10 degrees ignition retard
• Two GPO outputs for VVT, shift light, idle control, boost control etc
• Dedicated shift light and fuel pump output
• Fully adjustable VANOS and double VANOS control for BMW engines

Software Features

• Windows based. Can be used with Windows '98 , ME and XP
• User friendly interface with easy to navigate screens
• Dash panel for engine monitoring whilst online.
• Files can be downloaded an retrieved on hard drive
• Files can be uploaded to the Mini X and saved to the hard drive.
• Maps can be rapidly changed using the curve function or the all ranges up.
• Input screens include: Fuel, Ignition, F5 Configuration, Air temp correction, Water temp correction, Battery voltage correction, Accel pump map, Launch control maps and the micro staged fuel map.
