Mk2 Focus RS and ST-225 Boost Control Solenoid

Replacement boost control Solenoid from Ford for the 2.5l 20v Turbo engines, this is a revised part from Ford to replace the parts fitted to late ST-225's and most Mk2 Focus RS's.

You can tell if your car is in need for a replacement boost control solenoid if the car feels sluggish and doesnt make the boost it used to, this is often more apperent once a car has been remapped as the boost commanded higher than the standard setting. Another sign of a failed solenoid is if the boost surges, or the car is very hesitant.

Fitting of this part is best carried out when on a ramp, access from the top is very tricky!
