It started life as a pre facelift car, nice and standard for a week, then after becoming the first dealer for the dreamscience product we set about writing some files for the car and learning how to use the software and created a file which has proven itself around the world gaining 12bhp on a standard car.
Once we got bored of that we went about fitting the Cosworth inlet to the car and then writing a file to suit using the dreamscience/sct software, these were the results:


177bhp on an otherwise standard engine, this transformed the way the car drove totally, giving the car a much more even spread of torque and alot more peak power. Again, we soon bored of this power and got to work looking into exhaust manifolds and systems, we tested the piper 4-1, Milltek 4-2-1 and Milltek 4-1 finding the 4-1 evo manifold giving the best results with the larger and better flowing primaries. we also went about doing some extensive work to the car, fitting Cosworth rods, high compression pistons, 240spec cams, springs to suit and one of our ported heads, this saw power jump to 220bhp at the start:

After more mapping we saw figures of 232bhp with revs reaching 8500rpm
We then went about fitting a Bilstein B12 suspension kit to the car to help with the handling side of things, we can’t fault the way the car handled at all with this kit fitted, however with standard brakes it lacked somewhat in the braking department! We also fitted one of our uprated gearboxes and an RS Turbo diff.
With the car running 232bhp we were invited to the nu skool thrash with Performance Ford magazine, after that we took part in the beat the DORF feature and in the wet recorded a time of 1min:39.36secs even though it was very wet out:

The car went well in this form for 6 months, however we then started developing the supercharger kit using a good friend/customer's car, Ben, his car performed well, very well infact (until the gearbox broke) so we obviously got very jealous about this! So finally we found the time to supercharge our ST using the 2ltr bottom end, ported head, 200spec Cosworth cams, Cosworth inlet, intercooler, Cosworth rods and custom pistons, we did the first mapping session on it and got 320bhp and 220lbft, next step is a larger supercharger!
